Anyway, looking deeply into it, Legendary Lovers shouldn't be the follow-up single to Dark Horse because it has that different Katy vein to it too which may turn away the GP as someone had put it above.

They need to get the obvious hits out of the way first too.

Dark Horse will be #1 on pop for a very long time, so Birthday could very well last until July or so. It could still be a top summer anthem contender.

I think Birthday would be a nice late spring, early summer song, it has that cheery vibe that would be awesome as the sun begins to come out
Follow that with Walking On Air for late summer and Legendary Lovers for the autumn, provided that we can count on a 6 single-strong era again
