Rih just needs to promote the album on a few talk shows and awards shows, I don't care where the album/singles will peak, of course i would be happy if it was #1 WW like the rest of you, but if not, oh well the album is still good. Many albums in the past years did well on the charts and can't even sell 2M WW, I would rather have another +2M selling album (in the long run) than a #1 900k album ww or something like that

She needs to move her ass to Europe and promo the album, not only in the UK, but France and German too, at least!

The gap between albums is really tight since the general sales are bad.

So she can be #9 for 1 day of sales but also easily catch up. (Still not good enough tho).

4,5 stars on iTunes, most of them are 5 stars, so that's pretty good so far

I know, but she should have gone top5 at least today. I thought someone was waiting for it being out in stores but that's not the case. She'll probably sell around 15k this week which is awful.

Well she is basically doing this with her own label Westbury Road and the team is probably not that skilled as the Def Jam one. The album is undershipped at certain locations I think.

I wouldn't say Anti has more quality than any of her previous releases. It's actually really all over the place with both lyrics and vocals. The fact she included so many up to 3 minutes songs is also not helping. And the quality of the Deluxe bonus tracks is just I refuse to believe it's the best material she recorded during these 3 years.

I am wondering how would a Rihanna album sound if she only worked with 1-2 producers on all tracks.

okay this is false. ANTI is very much consistent thematically (aka lyrics) and idek what you mean about the vocals

This review is so good (it was actually published on a newspaper) 5/5, too bad it doesn't count for MC

Pop stars note, this is music. All other efforts seem boring in comparison. None of the songs shout Top 40 radio fodder, but the record is all the stronger for it. This is an album full of heart and soul, that doesn’t scream, but sings. It’s an album for super*tasters and sophisticated palettes. There are a lot of flavours here, but they’re subtle. McPop, this ain’t.
