Selena Gomez On Samedi Soir on Chante
Selena Gomez flew into Paris last night and now we know why! She appeared on Samedi Soir on Chante last night (a pre-recorded program) which aired last night! Samedi Soir on Chante is a show where young artists perform old French classics, to re-introduce them to the youth. Selena's choice? J'en Ai Marre originally sung by Alizee. She sung a toned-down, darker, sexier version of the song before performing her own song "Best". Both performances kept the crowd entertained and earned Selena rave reviews. She was the first America act to appear on the show.
On why she chose J'en Air Marrer: "J'en Ai Marre is just like, a really sexy song and when I was deciding which song to do, we had a few arrangements for multiple songs and I was just really really crazy about it." On being the most successful modern American act in France: "I love France and always have. It was a place I dreamed about going when I was a little girl. Now I'm a big girl and not only do I get to come here, but I get shown so much love and support by my fans and everyone else here. France is honestly like a second home to me." On how French culture inspires her music: "I recorded several songs from my album here and I think I am a very spiritual person. And I believe in auras and energies and things of that nature. And this place has such a beautiful energy and feel too it and that's what really inspires me. From any place. The energy that I feel from it." On if she plans to tour here anytime soon: "I mean, I'm not really planning a tour right now but you never know. I could do a one-off show or something. You just never know."
Her album Fool's Paradise, originally released in North America only, is being released in France on 7/30, Italy, Germany and Spain on 7/31 and the rest of Europe on 8/1. She told Samedi Soir on Chante "I mean, we're in the age of the internet so I'm sure most people here have already heard it but it's still a great feeling for it to be officially out here in Europe. Especially since I'll be here for while, so I get that "new album" embrace from the fans all over again." When asked about where else the album would be release, she answered: "All over the world, duh!" she laughed. "It's just that with this album I really took my time to plan everything and I want it to come out in certain territories when I feel those territories are ready for it."

Zendaya performs on Today Show
Earlier today, Zendaya stopped by the NBC studios in New York, where she performed two of her songs on the stage for the audience, and where she also gave a short interview, answering some of her fans questions that they've asked her on Twitter before the show. She first showed up on that stage to perform her hit, and number one single "Gunshots", which is almost Platinum now as well. Rocking a beautiful peach colored button up shirt and a skin colored suit, Zendaya looked really good, and with that long hairstyle, she sure looked like a goddess or something during her performance. Even a lot of websites, for example, Vogue, Elle and others, praised Zendaya's ability to dress very nicely, and some of them even named Zendaya best dressed celebrity of the day, but it's not a surprise, since Zendaya slayed everyone in that outfit of hers. Even if she decided to wear those killer heels of her, she still was able to deliver a perfect performance, and she even danced as well along with her dancers, who joined the singer on stage during "Gunshots". The performance was simply amazing, as Zendaya danced alongside with her dancers throughout the whole performance, and sang at the same time, which is difficult to do, since when you're dancing, it's not that easy to catch your breath and also to focus on vocals and try to hit all of those difficult notes, but Zendaya somehow managed to do that perfectly, and that's probably because she has been performing "Gunshots" for a long time now, and she is used to this routine that she's been doing. Taylor Swift, who is featured on this song, didn't show up on that stage with Zendaya to perform her lines, but the problem was simply solved as the pre-recorded vocals played instead, while Zendaya danced throughout them. After this performance, Zendaya walked down of the stage to have a short interview with the hosts, who asked them various questions about her current situation with Video Music Awards and her upcoming new album. When their interview was over, then, Today Show showed some other stuff, and only 30 minutes later, it was time for Zendaya to perform once again. She chose to perform her second single, "Lost In Rehab". For this performance, Zendaya decided to slow down a little bit as she just stood infront of a microphone stand during this performance, and she was alone on stage, without dancers joining her. Zendaya did an amazing job with those vocals, and she actually slayed.
Interviewer: Please welcome the lovely, the one and only, Zendaya! She is joining us today to perform two of her hit songs, and she is also here to spill some details on everything that has been happening in her life currently. Zendaya, could you please say where the hell is that album of yours? We've been waiting forever for it now!
Zendaya: Well, haha, it's on its way. It was supposed to come out earlier this month, but then we just decided to push it back a little bit, because we wanted to launch it with two singles under my belt, instead of one. You know, I have to make sure it will be launched with enough of buzz, and I don't think there's a better way to create more buzz around this album than release two singles before it. We considered releasing an EP first, with couple of the songs from that album, but then we decided to release full length a bit later instead. So, now, you all have just to wait, since it's on its way.
Interviewer: Have you shot a music video for "Lost In Rehab"?
Zendaya: Yes, I have. It was shot last week, so that is why I had such a struggling promotion last week, I was just too busy and I wasn't even in United States last week, we shot the music video completely in a different continent. The music video is based on this one movie that I saw a few weeks ago, and when I saw that movie, I just thought that it really reminded me of my song. I'm super excited to show it, though, I think it'll be premiering next week on VEVO.
Interviewer: How do you manage to look this good?
Zendaya: I think it's just that I have a lot in confidence and I always believe in what I do, and I believe in what I wear. I have a lot of confidence, and that's why I'm just always glowing. I mean, basically, some other artists have this as well, they can literally throw a trash bag on theirselves and with enough confidence, they still look smoking hot. And I'm basically doing something similar - my outfits always look really good, but with that confidence, I think they look just perfect.
Interviewer: We heard that you will be performing at Video Music Awards. Is that true?
Zendaya: Yes, it is true. I'm really excited to perform on that show, it will be an amazing experience for me, since I think it's the first time that I'll be performing on an award show. I think that now, we're one hundred percent ready for this performance, me and my team - we're ready for this one. We've been rehearsing for about two weeks now, and the performance is just huge in my opinion, there will be a lot of dancing, and moving, and a lot of choreography, it will be just huge. I'm really excited for everyone to see this performance.

Anyone can perform, only one artist per label though. The VMAs are tomorrow at 1PM EST (something around that time) and performances are due before that (I'd send in at like 11AM EST)

Charli XCX on Evening Urgant
__________________________________________________ ____________
Another article another country! Charli flew all the way from Holland to Russia to appear on the Late night Russian talk show, Evening Urgant. Her appearance was a big event since Charli was big in Russia, even prior to singles like 'Fancy', 'Boom Clap' or her new smash hit 'Alone in the Dark'. When Charli arrived to the Russian airport in St. Peterborough, hundreds of fans were waiting for her outside of the venue and even blocked the cars from passing by. After an introduction video shown on the screen, charli arrived to the stage.
Wearing a beautiful Valentino couture black and red dress, Charli kissed the host of the show before waving to the excited crowd. Than the interview started. Charli discussed several things, and since this is her first Russian TV appearance, Charli had to re-explain the concept of her album and singles again: "The album really is about the different sides of love, like a relationship seen from different views" she explained. " 'Devour My Heart' also nearly didn't happen, because after 'True Romance' I was slightly lost about what I wanted to do as a follow up to it. You know... the punk themes and all. Tokyo Lights is more about the discovery of love, SuperLove more about desire, Wasted (Taste It) is all about partying with your loved ones..." She added.
Charli than got up on stage wearing a black Alexander McQueen gown with fur details and diamond encrusted Alexander Mcqueen Pumps. She sang two songs: the original version of 'Tokyo Love' and it's it's remix/sony version. During the original version Charli danced around with 3 dancers who got off stage right after the transition between the original and remix which was a simple electronic instrumental during which Charli stood behind her led microphone stand.

Charli XCX on X Factor Russia
__________________________________________________ ______________
Charli XCX flew to Russia last night for a performance on he popular late show Evening Urgant, and she has just minutes ago performed on a huge singing competition in Russia watched by hundreds of thousands, the Russian version of X Factor, titled X Factor Russia. Throughout the show commercials were shown and they were showing Charli's Sony and Redbull commercials which feature Tokyo Lights' Sony remix and it's original version. Miss XCX impressed the crowds in Russia with this stunning performance.
After a regular introduction video counting her different records, especially in Russia, Charli appeared in the middle of what would appear as 'clouds', which kind of had a cotton candy texture. The clouds were a very light shade of orange, purple and blue mixed. The whole stage was re-designed for the performance, and looked like a place in the sky. Charli was wearing a pair of transparent and white wings which would appear as being angel wings, 'Angels' being also the name of her fan base.
The whole performance looked like a performance in the garden of Eden. Her and her dancers were represented as angels while Charli sang a medley of 'Tokyo Lights' and the Sony remix 'Tokyo Lights (Sony Version'). Aided by 6 different dancers all wearing angel like outfits, Charli amazed the crowd with a very interesting choreography and her impressive amount of energy. "I Love you Angels!" she screamed right before she 'took off', her wings being attached to the top of the venue. She started dancing in the air like a few dancers had done earlier in the performance.
You can now purchase Tokyo Lights here.

Pixie Lott hosts album signing for fans in UK (London).
Today Pixie Lott thought that it would be a great idea to host an album signing event for fans in UK. So Pixie took her twitter and wrote:
So yeah, the event took place in BBC studios in London. Over 200 000 people showed up, with the album and posters. They all we’re screaming Pixie’s name, cried, and just wanted to meet Pixie. Pixie herself was feeling very emotional, when she saw all the fans waiting for her. There were huge lines waiting to meet Pixie, get a picture with her, and her autograph, the demand was crazy. Pixie talked with her fans, took photos with them, and signed autographs for everyone, even if it took a long time, she still did it.
Pixie then took her microphone and said a speech: “Wow guys, 200 000 of you are here, I’m just over the moon, so happy. All of you are like a family to me, you, most of you, or even little of you were there for me even when I was flopping, and was being snubbed by radio, you still followed me, and cared about me. And look now guys, we did it, we are now bigger than ever, and I’m just so thankful that you never left me, without you I would have probably been in my home making coffee and remembering good old times, but no, you didn’t ruin my dreams, you made them bigger, and I’m just grateful, and if I could I would kiss you all. Just a huge thank you. My new album hopefully was a good surprise for you all, and I hope you liked it, because it’s all for you, I worked day & night just for you, because you deserved new music, and I just couldn’t have left you hanging, even if I was floppin! Anyways, again, even if I have said this a 100 times already thank you, thank you, thank you!”
One fan then asked Pixie to perform some songs with that little mic and on that little chair, but Pixie said yes, she sang 3 songs from her album: Eyes Full Of Salt, Without You & Barbie Doll. She sang all these sound acoustically and sounded like an angel, fans looks mesmerized, they cried, because two of these songs are very sad, and heart breaking, Pixie herself shed a tear, but she still sounded good and confident. The set ended with a bit more up tempo song Barbie Doll, Pixie sang it nicely, and it was a huge kick in the ass for all the mean girls, that think that they are better than others. The fans then started leaving, and Pixie took the last photos with fans, oh she also did a huge selfie with fans, and yeah, she then left the bbc studios, and fans followed her to her car. She then went to do more promotion for her album.
