Womanizer was a killer lead single and Circus was a perfect 2nd single.
Everything was going flawless during the Cirus era before she stopped bothering and releasing a meh video for IFYSA and then Radar I wish she would've made a video anthology for Circus. Last time she had that fierce look in ha eyes
Hold It Against Me was not average or underwhelming, lol. That song is one of her best. It has everything.
Personal opinions. I also LOOOVE it but come on it doesn't have a memorable hook. it's pretty much forgettable. TTWE as the lead single woul've pushed FF to 2M
For example, I just noticed that Katy just fell another spot right now on iTunes.
17. Do What U Want (feat. R. Kelly) - Lady Gaga
18. White Walls (feat. ScHoolboy Q & Hollis) - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
19. Unconditionally - Katy Perry
Tho I drag Gags a lot I am really hoping she destroys Katy
I know, but Womanizer just had more global appeal, imo. Obviously for America, it was a better choice and ended up matching Womanizer's sales over here despite opening with less.
