I still remember NU'EST's debut like it was yesterday, they had a HUGE amount of hype initially & theey were breaking YouTube records (for BGs) at the time, they have no one to blame but themself. Their comebacks got dull.
Face was really huge, it's still impressive how they managed such a successful debut. Though the songs never got better, they did get a bit boring, sadly. Sleep Talking is still a bop, at least.
Nu'est biggest issue wasn't them, it was their ****ing FAKE ass fans & label (at the time)
when they started it they had that 'anti-bullying' image that's cute and important, of course, but when they tried to do something different to expand their sound (but it wasnt even that different from the music they made before), they got a huge hit (2 million plus seller i believe?) but lost almost all their fans JUST because they weren't singing about 'we love you and your beautiful' like, dont these girls got parents to tell them that?
whew sorry, ever since i started stanning for Nu'est & watched that documentary the injustice they've been through always irks my damn nerves tbh
yeah but the thing is that... NU'EST was already kinda big at one point so they just fell off. Why? I don't know. But from what I've noticed, when that happens in k-pop, it's kind of hard to come back from. When doing the rate a few months ago, they had one of the most consistent discographies to me so I'm surprised that it was them of all groups.
KORDEI how do you know so much
There's no way you got into k-pop this year

I told you this but I like to be informed and I like to research. I pick up as I go. Just in general, I never want to be the person in the room that is clueless
