 Frontloaded is a term used to describe projects that started off well but fizzled out quickly. BEYONCÉ is an excellent example. It sold 1.3 million in its first two weeks in the US and it's sold only 600k since. 
Movies can be frontloaded, too. Let's use Beyoncé as an example again. Her movie Cadillac Records opened w/$4.5m (good numbers for a limited release) but ended up grossing only $8m.
