I'm actually happy he's experimenting & he didn't go for the follow-up pure R&B track.
It's great that he's experimenting + i love that he's smashing, but there are better ways of ''going pop.'' I don't want him to get lumped w/the Ushers and Chris Browns of this world.

I'm still excited for the album but I've been disappointed by
everything released other than BL.
Me too. BL is still my fav song/video of the year tho
I don't mind Give it 2 U. He's experimenting. After 4 albums of the same sound and songs, I get that he wants to change it up and have "fun." As long as he keeps it to a minimum, it's fine.
Treasure is just general late 70s/early 80s R&B/Pop-Disco
Actually you're right. "Blurred Lines" sounds like a modern day "Got to Give It Up". It that the song sampled?
Speaking of the omnipresence of the Jackson family's influence on modern music, Ciara's performance last night reminded me a lot of Janet. Was I the only one thinking of "So Excited" and "If"?
I understand that Ciara is influenced by Janet and all that nice stuff, but that doesn't mean that EVERY thing she does has to be influenced by Janet. Some people take it too far
That performance had nothing remotely similar to Janet Jackson (yes I used her full name) unless you're nitpicking for stuff
I love how ATRL tries to make black R&B fans angry by constantly pointing out that Robin is white, but they fail to realize that blacks are ROOTING for him, not upset

Cap, that avi needs to go back to where it came from
Is that Frank Ocean? It's been so long since I've seen him that I forgot what he looked like.

Of all people I would
have never expected Robin to have the song of the Summer . Blurred Lines has really grown on me, but my favorite song from him will always be Sex Therapy

I remember when that dumb girl from syg (who got dragged in the Blogs section over the weekend) kept insisting that the ''black brigade'' were jealous of J.T's success.
