Sarah Paulson is really a great actress when she is given great material. Especially in tonight's episode. Although I must say, I never understood when people said Coven was so bad, because truthfully it was still great, it wasn't what I had hoped, I don't really like witches period, but it wasn't bad overall, it felt gripping and something entirely new, but this season honestly feels like a hot mess, and I never thought I'd said that, because I'm such a fan of the series, but really this season, has me caring for absolutely nobody and their is only 4 episodes to go. I think Dandy's story like should've been explored a lot more, and a lot sooner, if they wanted to just base it around a serial killer they should've, but all the mixed storylines, that are throw away storylines, they come and go, and nobody cares, they're just their for the sake of, the only character that actually stood out was Sarah's and only this episode did she really shine through, not even Jessica has been given her moment to shine this season, I think their is to many characters, for them to truly go in to detail with them all, none have really had their moment to shine, I feel. I don't know, it's nearly over, the show needs a huge change with the next season, this freak show idea was great, maybe it should've been more carnival-ish, because Ryan didn't do a good job of exploring this idea, 4 episodes to go, I'll keep watching, and we'll see how it goes, I hope next season the writing is improved, because it was god awful this year.
