In the comics, Negan took Dwight's wife, rather she left him for daddy Negan and all the perks that come with being his wife, and when he tried to lash out he burned his face off. That's why he ends up betraying him in the end.

I liked the episode, even if it was slow. Kinda glad to finally see the history of Dwight. We all know he's gonna turn against Negan eventually, he'll team up with Rick and his group to defeat Negan, he'll be the eyes and ears of Rick in The Sanctuary. At least he does that in the comics, let's hope that this will happen too in the TV Show
