Britney's numbers in Japan are real good considering she has only done promo in the U.S. and barely any at that. She hasn't done any international promo at all. The album is selling off of name alone. Three weeks on UWC has her at 699.000 while GL has 789.000 with 7 weeks charting.
When Britney does her promo rounds there (Japan), she does good. She has always been really successful in the Asian market, including Japan (several Asian Britney stans on ATRL can verify that for you). Stop with the Britney shading and celebrate your album. It's okay to use her as a point of reference to evaluate how GL is doing, but do not try to shade Britney in the process.

50% ??? Nah Nah Nah, Britney's worldwise sales are not very far from Goodbyle Lullaby according to mediatraffic and remember Brit had 2 singles already. People think she does ok thanks to USA sales while they often forget Japanese market. May be because their favourtie can't sell their (except Gaga, Backstreetboys and Mariah Carey)
Britney's first week in Japan was around 15.5k-16k and Avril's sixth week there was 15.4k . And 15.5-16k can consider a decent sales for Brit in Japan

And the first week of GL was Japan sales alone. Basically those sales come from 6 weeks. And if you have a look, GL didn't sell that less than FF worldwide according to mediatraffic based on their first three week (4 weeks for GL due to the Japanese release was a week sooner).
Avril doesn't have to do any promo anything in Japan and Alice is still selling well there

which ended up on their year end chart. And i'm just surprised that people still think their favourite can still compete with Avril in Asia

. You can't compare the one who debuted 135k to the one sold 15k in their first week in Japan. Even with the promo, there's only Avril and Gaga can debut that huge in Japan. Just face the fact !
And honey, i'm living in Asia !
