I agree. Her speaking out has caused more good than harm for once. Whilst there's still criticism, she's getting SO much love from the GP and figureheads in the industry. I'm really proud of her. Best of all people are checking out her music on iTunes & Youtube.

I like that Solange spoke out aswell. You'll all remember the amount of flak she got earlier this year after the elevator incident. So many articles were branding her unstable, an alcoholic, bi-polar amongst some other awful things. She's experienced that "angry black woman" first hand. I'd love it to lead to a collaboration personally, True EP is still devine to this day.

I think I'm gonna start stanning for AB. I've always been on the fence with her due to her insensitive comments concerning certain subjects, but I think she means well at the end of the day. BWET is a great album and her passion is inspiring.

I really hope mainstream America gives her a chance eventually. However, I do think she needs to be willing to work with them a bit. I know she doesn't care about mainstream success, but I think she has an important story to tell, and she just needs to let people see that without giving them ammo to come at her.
