Oh well sorry I'm a little biased towards Avril since my sister was a huge fan from 2002-2006 and she had her first two albums and used to blast them non stop at home
So, bias aside, Avril and Gags are even, unfortunately Avril still had some gas left for her third album, which gave her Girlfriend and When You're Gone, but Gags with ARTPOP....

And don't do Goodbye Lullaby wrong! It's far from her best and a bit too dreary, but it has What the Hell, Smile, Stop Standing There, Darlin', Remember When...

The only reason Lana isn't played on radio is because of her experimental baroque sound. It isn't pop enough for them. That's why Ultraviolence flopped super hard; because she went the alternative rock route.
Anything or anyone against Nicki to the Barbz and the delusional Nicki is a "racismé." the paranoia! I said jokingly that mtv probably thought they had to get Nicki on the show (affirmative action) They feared the backlash from any derogatory claims that the network didn't meet a quota for white vs black performers. I say that because as we all know Nicki is quick to use the race card whenever her supposed art isn't acknowledged by "white devil media."

HBTB is very mainstream tho! The trap beats are the it thing right now.
