Miguel would be a much better fit for the song, and the song would smash on it's own accord tbh.

If she plays her cards right, both Work and Kiss It Better could reach #1, and that's pretty important when you consider how many #1 hits she has already. Getting both to the top would demonstrate lasting starpower beyond what most artists historically have achieved.
Kiss It Better should definitely be performed at the Grammys. Or Love on the Brain.
I hope she uses the Rock in Rio arrangements of her hits for the tour. Some of them are just amazing. S&M in particular springs to mind. And the We Found Love rock version that most of y'all hate everytime she does it from what I remember reading on here.

Letting Kiss It Better wait instead of being the next single would be a monumental mistake.
Work should carry her into the Spring and Kiss It Better should be released as a single in mid-to-late March or the first week of April.
Love on the Brain would actually not make the best single choice - it might be an okay hit, but I'd argue more for Sex With Me (given the impressive iTunes response) and Consideration as singles.
