why would she not perform work you might not like it as much as some of the other songs, but she has to promote the WW single and the grammys is perfect for that
After the absolute perfection of WFL, stay and 45S at the grammys I don't want Work to be the next one. I need something more mature and anti has many choices !
I think the ANTi era is making me a stan. It's actually not weird posting in the Rihanna base since I know most of y'all from the antidiary and album threads. I love the direction she's going with this album, I'm happy for the navy, even if the album was a bit disappointing (in the sense that I expected more tracks and a couple of more Same Ol' Mistakes experimental masterpieces).

I get that she "has to" perform Work at the Grammys, but I think a Love On The Brain or Consideration performance could sell the album as it truly is, an evolution to Rihanna as an artist. Work would only send the wrong message that the album is full of careless bops and it doesn't fit the mood at all. Well, maybe depends on how she approaches the performance.
I don't see her performing Work. She'd likely be too reliant on the backing track and I can't see her pulling a tour performance at the Grammys. It's not really a good representation of the record or the best platform for the song either and I'm willing to bet she agrees.

The people acting fresh like ANTI is her first quality album when Unapologetic was already incredible and aiming higher than the standard pop album. Can't wait to see her in June. I just know the live show will be a sonic and visual representation of how the album cover looks. Striking, slightly wrong, but oh so beautiful.
