1. there's no need for Somi in TWICE, the screentime and spotlight would be shared between 10 members
2. this is a wasted opportunity of launching a new gg, that would also slay

I've seen 10+ members share a spotlight just fine. So Jihyo would get bumped down an extra spot to 10th most popular lol. Big deal. She should be used to last place by now.
I get what you're saying tho but I feel bad for Somi. She's living her dream and then she's gonna have to put that on hold until JYP figures out their next move for their new GG =/
What is the point of debuting a new girl group when TWICE is so huge now? Like Kosmo said It's a lose-lose situation because the new group will be overshadowed while TWICE will have to share the spotlight.
JYP's new girl group won't debut anytime soon, maybe 2 years later? By that time Somi's popularity will be dead already so adding her to TWICE is a reasonable choice. May be just a temporary member, like TWICE feat Somi?
The problem with Somi, is even if she will be solo, she won't bring that many coins for JYP unless she sells shitload of of her music, cause she can't promote outside of music shows can't go outside of the country for a concert, I still remember KCON Paris when she couldn't go on stage cause she is too young. She can't perform to all the big events until next year or the year after. So it's pointless to make her debut right now. Just give her a quick little single, some variety and a drama, she will wait patiently until debut.
