Empress Somi deserves her own GROUP
and TWICE deserve to NOT share the spotlight with YET another popular idol
ugh, i will be SO MAD
the only reason JYP wouldn't debut Somi in a new group is that he's scared of a miss A situation of unbalanced popularity among a group, OR that he's scared it might lower TWICE's hype and potentially impose a threat...
or that he won't be able to manage two new groups (look at got7, 2pm, and wg)

At least Chaeyeon gets BUNCH of individual work (drinking solo for example)
Chungha got some CFs for now but it won't keep for long

she also did the Cheer Up choreo before, so like yeah...lemme stay delusional for now

really... what are the REAL disadvantages of Somi joining IF that were to happen? I mean besides things that nobody outside of stans will care about ("will ruin the original group/lineup11!! wasn't there from day 1!!11")?
I mean I guess it would be a lil weird bc TWICE has already established themselves but that's the only thing. but... Destiny's Child turned out just fine.
anyway, I don't think she's gonna be in it. I bet JYP is aware of these rumors and might fuel them to keep her name in the spotlight until the next girl group which she will be the leader of lol

She vas a contestant in SIXTEEN ( the show where TWICE originated ) and got eliminated but she was always very popular during the show.
then she was in another survival show ( Produce 101) and debuted with i.o.i ( which will disband next year )

"vocals" is such a dated 1999-and-LATE concept, it clearly doesn't equate quality
Somi is a perfect popstar, she can serve pop vocals, dance well, stage presence, & beauty
i think she could work solo, honestly -- she has the fandom

An IOI member, but their contract only lasts a year so the 11 members all have to go back to their respective companies soon, which is JYP for Somi. They have to do something with her so people are thinking JYP will add her to Twice.
Thing is, Twice is popular af and Somi is popular af as well. It would be kind of a waste to debut her in a group that's already doing more than fine

Seaux, Pinky + Nayoung = Pledis Legendz, Mina + Sejeong = Nugudan, Yeunjung = WJSN, Doyeon + Yoojung = New fantagio group, Sohye = actress?, Chungha = ???, Chaeyeon = DIA and Somi = Twice
