Idc about sales , the reviews this album is JUST that good.
So far I love Sex With Me, Woo, Consideration, Love On The Brain, and Yeah I Said the most. The album is like a more soulful, sexy, aggressive version of GGGB, with Rated R's depth and the sonical variance of Unapologetic. It's better than any album she's EVER done by far. The vocal experimentation. It's so varied in sound. And most importantly it's COHESIVE. The songs work together as a whole to give an overall vibe. And for once Rihanna shines above the production on EVERY song.
I keep finding it a weird experience to be able to listen to an album digitally and know it's " out" but not be able to go to a store to buy it physically aswell I can't get used to it

I always hated when artists were saying this is a gift for my fans bla bla and then upload the album on itunes so that the fans can buy their "gift", Rihanna knows gifts are given for free, and 1M fans were lucky to receive that gift
So much for Mitus's rants about ""next level", "we'll murder radio with it", "this is how future will sound like" for it to end up a 1:28 loop of the same phrase sang by another artist but he gave us a good lesson about never trusting young/hyped producers that praise their work to the high heavens and in reality Rih didn't even bother to record a line or 2 for it.
Just finished my first listen to the standard record. I really liked it! I'll have to give it a few more listens to get an accurate opinion but initial standouts were "Kiss It Better" and "Love on the Brain". I've seen a bit of hate for this album on ATRL and honestly I don't get that. For me this feels like Rihanna's most "genuine" record and I can see why she put so much time into it.
