I still refuse to accept that Jon Snow is staying dead. His character has way too much going on (Warg, parentage, family drama, White Walkers) for them to just snatch him at this point.

And I mean there's absolutely no point to revealing his parentage (next week?) if he's actually dead. They're not gonna be like "he was half Targaryen but it doesn't matter now! lol!"

I'm so pissed at what the show is doing with Dorne. I honestly don't even get why they bothered to put Doran in the show at all if this is how they were planning on treating him. He's portrayed as such a strategic and mentally strong character in the books, and the show just decided to completely throw that away and have him be spineless, contribute absolutely nothing and then just randomly be killed. It's so disrespectful to the character, not to mention completely pointless

Other than that, I thought this was a pretty good premiere. It covered a lot of stories, but it felt like each one got sufficient time and set things in place for the season. Although I screamed when Jorah just happened to find a tiny ring in the massive field that spans miles and miles

Also to everyone talking about the Red woman and her having her neckless removed before - she was using her special ointments/bath drops then, and the camera deliberately focused on those vials of things resting next to her neckless on the table - so I'm assuming when she bathed the oils and stuff in the water gave her the same powers as the neckless does.

The ring thing wasn't that unexpected. The dothraki had Dany surrounded, leaving the patch of grass where she was standing untrampled. Thus it stood out to Jorah, who examined it and found the ring.

F this crap, I'm only watching this mess to see if Jon Snow is coming back. The writing has gotten so damn bad, lazy and cringy.

If you're going to keep Cersei around, at least don't try so hard to make me sympathize with her and get on her side with lame tricks like demonizing the generic and badly written religious characters.

The wigs and hairpieces of the Dorthraki are horrible... I really hope they move on with Dany's storyline...

Arya's scene was worthless... but I kind of did enjoy seeing her beat up.

The Sandsnakes were ok... but what are they really adding to the show? Are they really going to have a huge war between the Lannisters and Martells? It's just a waste if they only have this season and 15 or so episodes left, and with Jamie in the Riverlands and Cersei still dealing with the Tyrells...

The Sansa/Brienne scenes were great. That hug from Theon... the first time we see her really embrace someone after who knows how long. Him trying to sacrifice himself for her. I kind of hated seeing Sansa defenseless.... I wish she would have attacked someone. But at least she now has 3 loyal companions.... I loved that Pod was fighting as well. But what happened to the hounds? Did they just run away? Also did they save some of the Bolton horses so they can move faster?

I kind of had waaay too many feeling when Brienne swore her vows to Sansa just like she did to her mom and with the sword made from the ancestral heirloom of House Stark. I hope we see a scene with Sansa and Pod and he catches her up with what happened to Tyrion.

Another thing I really liked... the season starting with a wolf, a wolf howling in the North... so many feels. Mel also saying she saw Jon Snow on battle at Winterfell.... foreshadowing?

I doubt Cersei will do that, she'll have nothing to do with the North... she'll just get a Raven from Littlefinger and she won't worry about the North.

The Lannister Army will go to the Riverlands though. Maybe House Tyrell will take Dorne, in the books Obara wants the Dornish to attack the Reach.
