So based on a coworker who has been a dedicated TWD comic reader iirc since before it even got a show, I know that Negan is supposed to eventually become a good guy, or at least something of a begrudging teammate in some other future arc. I don't know HOW that is possible, as I for one will NEVER forgive him for what he did to Rick's group. He will NOT be pulling a Magneto with me. Yet apparently he has plenty of stans?

well to be fair TWD haven't been following the comics step by step precisely, anything can still happen

but yeah that would be messy

The episode was for sure intense and hard to watch in some moments, I don't know how to feel about that.
It seems to me that this show has became kind of stale in terms of storyline, every season has became a war between gangs with the main villain to fight, always more evil-disturbed with some brutal deaths in order to shock, but basically always the same thing, it's not even about who died or the zombies, but the violence.

It's unimpressive to talk about total viewership when, say, 60 Minutes can get 16 million and football got more than Walking Dead.

But then you see that Walking Dead beat football by 40% in the demo that advertisers actually pay money for, and that's where the omg factor comes in.
