Y'all can go on on and on but at the end of the day, this game is rushed and left out core elements of the previous ones.Emotions and the CAS sculpting was not worth the things taken out personally speaking. Instead of fixing and working on the issues of TS3, cause I'll admit there were a few, they just removed them and then some. Sorry for the rant but as someone who played The Sims series since Sim Hotel, Sim Ant, Sim City, and TS1, up until The Sims 3 Into The Future, I'm just sooo disappointed.

When a game called The Sims 3 focused on everything BUT The Sims themselves.
Something ain't right.
May I remind you that babies in the Sims 4 were HEADS. They had no body and lacked any major interaction apart from "be left on ground" unless you bought Generations. You could barely do anything with them.
The rabbit holes are removed so we can actual community lots again. You know, like how we're supposed to have them? So I can design my own shops and restaurants? You know something that takes up 1/4 of a Sims series is building community lots. And The Sims 3 had the bare minimum.
The worlds in The Sims 4 will end up adding to the biggest world The Sims series has seen.
It's possible that with all the EA, plus custom worlds we will most likely have, we could potentially have over 500, even a thousand lots to choose from within one saved game.
EA have ditched having "one world per save" and we are now building towards a bigger world. Every time you buy a world or download one from CC websites, they add to your game. Not replace it. Thats a huge advancement.

Also I dare you to play the Sims 2 and then go back to The Sims 3. The Sims are like genetic robots and have barely any personality at all compared to The Sims 2 sims.

I get that they rushed some elements like Pools, Toddlers and Terrain tools, but the Sims 3 lacked SO much yet because it had "Open World" and CASt!!!" everyone's blinded.
The Sims 4 had a lot more potential that it didn't live up to, and it's a disappointment.
But when most people can't even play the Sims 3, for starters, and then you look at how much they took out of The Sims core features to replace them with rabbit holes, robotic sims, and a glitchy open world, it's time to realise the Sims 3 isn't all "that" either.
