I doubt radios would have played HML or Scheiße a lot but maybe there could have been hype in their videos if done well. The iconic Hair would have smashed so hard.
But see, what you're doing is ignoring the real meanings of those "fun songs" in order to make them fun while focusing on the real meanings of those "not-so-fun songs" in order to make them not-so-fun.
Just Dance is about partying and drinking away your problems.
LoveGame is about choosing between love and your career.
Poker Face is about sexual identity.
Paparazzi is about yearning after someone who doesn't want you.
Telephone is about being suffocated by your work.
All of those songs are not-so-fun packaged to be fun, which is the same for ARTPOP's songs minus 'Dope'. Fans just want to nitpick and act like things have changed when they really haven't. Of course that doesn't mean you have to like ARTPOP's songs, but your reasoning doesn't make sense.

'Just Dance, gonna be ok, da da do doo' for me is fun music, so is Telephone- 'Stop calling, I dont wanna talk anymore, I left me head and my heart on the dancefloor' is fun for me too, LoveGame-'Lets have some fun this beat is sick.......' fun music too... Poker Face is a materpiece for parties.
I doubt that at a party you will think about the real meaning of LoveGame- choosing between your career and love. For Gaga maybe this is the meaning but the majority of people just dont care. They just want to have fun and listen to fun music, so do I

I think you made a great point. I think that Gaga caught on so quickly because her music could be taken both ways, you could look into the lyrics (like LoveGame) and think about the meaning of the song, or you could just have fun singing out loud "let's have some fun this beat is sick..." The music appeals to people who take music seriously, and people who listen just for fun.

After C2C Gags needs to work with the best people possible. She really needs to come back hard. I dont think her career could handle another ARTPOP era.
RedOne, DarkChild, Max Martin, Stargate- the slayage that could happen is unreal

Not sure about Max, he could turn out something unexpectedly awesome though, I can't think of a song I dislike that he's produced.
I'd like rock producers on board for the next one: Rick Rubin, Mike Elizondo (Carrie Underwood, Mastodon, 50 Cent), Mutt Lange, I need a Gaga rock album at some point.

Not as unreal as your wishes, though. We all know it's not going to happen.
Also, why 'she needs to'? What she needs is often not what her fans need.

Why would this automatically result in slayage? Are these producers on top of the game right now?
I don't think dance/pop is the way to go next. Not in a 'typical Gaga' sense. ARTPOP was flawed, but ultimately it's good dance/pop with singles that should have been able to succeed in spite of Gaga getting messy. Because they struggled, you have to wonder whether it's because people simply aren't as interested in what she's selling anymore. i.e. weird blonde popstar doing dance/pop.

Because they are one of the best producers and we know that Gaga has the ability to take the best out of a producer. No one can deny that those producers are on the A list of best producers.

I think you're overlooking the decline in quality in presentation (artworks like that artrave poster, fashion, performances, videos since 2011 tho the Applause video was good imo) that made her weird popstar thing so appealing in the first place.
That mysterious enigmatic personality and youthfulness she used to have also helped
I agree she's doing the same 'weird popstar' thing as back then but without everything that made it so endearing and likeable.

Their latest hits:
RedOne - Starships in 2012
Darkchild - As Long as You Love Me in 2012
Stargate - Diamonds in 2012 (unless you want to include 'The Fox'? in 2013)
Max Martin obviously has more, and more recently, but it's with the likes of Katy Perry and Ariana Grande.
Out of those mentioned, the latter would be the safest bet because he has such a consistent catalog and hopefully Gaga could bring him out of generic and bland...but his name being on her credits could act as a stick to beat her with.
I'm not saying she shouldn't and they're bad, but I do think fans should decondition themselves from thinking hits will automatically come from certain producers, and that to 'return to the top' she should try to recreate previous success. The new album will arrive in 2015. She needs to think about what the best sound is for THEN.
