i agree to an extent but it is impressive when a song can find success in many different countries that speak different languages

Shonda Rhimes isn't in Empire she has Greys, HTGAWM and Scandal. Empire is Lee Daniels.
Rihanna has never been big outside of Europe lol and that is because she used to make the type of music they listen there.
Her albums in the US barely go platinium (biggest market), she is irrelevant in Asia (second biggest market) and has never toured South America outside of that one stadium in Chile.
This myth Rihanna is global has to go away.
