Tropicana gave me deep, deep appreciation for the Like a Prayer video. LAP is obviously all style over substance, it's about the SEMBLANCE of depth instead of actual depth, but it works because Madonna (before age ate away at her common sense) was smart enough to keep it under 6 minutes. The longer you go the more obvious it becomes that you're trying pass off some edgy and provocative imagery as meaningful.
