It was released Monday afternoon, actually. Unexpectedly. Just saying that it takes time for songs to go #1, people expected it to happen right away.

How Only Girl is going up is reminding me of how CG moved up. I expect OG to be #1 by early tomorrow.

Ah, I see. Well, actually a lot of songs shoot up to #1, by big named artists. "CG" and "OG" have different circumstances with their spontaneous releases. Whereas, the songs we see shooting up to #1 in a matter of hours had previous hype and lead-ins.

The comparison doesn't make complete sense, but I'm definently being reminded of CG's initial performance right now with how OG is moving up. It may be just me, but whatever. They both were released almost right after they leaked and took well over 24 hours to get to #1. But CG also saw its best performance weeks after it debuted when airplay was increasing like crazy. I think the same will happen to Only Girl.
