Buddy's Book was a cute episode! That shot of Rose walking in the desert with her lions was everything. I love learning about the gem history on earth and I really liked that they went back to the strawberry field because it's one of my favorite locations

I doubt she was shattered since she's still on the Homeworld symbol, but it seems like another attack on her during the war was way more successful than what we saw in "The Answer".

I still can't believe how ugly the episode "Crack the Whip" was. Why are Raven and Paul such a hit-or-miss team?

I dislike whoever boards these type of episodes where the non-gem characters have kids bodies, it's soooo odd and unfitting.

i didn't like the buddys book episode, I think its one of my least fave episodes ever Like what was the point? It just seemed like pointless filler episode. Did i miss some important reveal?

We did see something that looked a lot like Blue Diamond's palanquin in shambles and we now know Rose had a pack of lions (none of them pink). Both things will probably come back later this season as they're mostly setting things up right now.

I just wanna say, Amethyst is definitely my favourite gem, any centric episode about her is bound to be a standout. I almost shed a tear during Earthlings when both Steven and her concluded that they are stronger together and formed Smoky Quartz

The best episodes of Summer Of Steven are Beta/Earthlings, Bismuth and Mr Greg.

Oh wow, that song is definitely one of my faves, possibly my #1. And it's actually normal length, compared to the shorter songs we've had on the show.


The guest animation was lovely, hopefully Takafumi Hori comes back again sometime!

And wow at Steven's guilt over Bismuth/Jasper/Eyeball. That scene when they were falling, and he was talking about how horrible he feels made me tear up. Poor Steven is just doing his best.

The animation is just eye-popping. The fluidity of the movements especially the butterflies' and Rose's head (LoL) is so mesmerizing. I also liked the song, very relaxing, soothing, and calming.
What caught me off guard was the last scene, where Stevonnie just says "I'm here" .

I didn't like the song in the beginning when it was just Garnet singing but once Stevonnie kicked in I was sold. Really powerful episode that I was not expecting. Think about all the stuff we go through every day in our minds and then think about having two minds sharing that same bubble. Quality episode. The fact that this is a kids show that can cut this deep is why I love it so much.

I just balled my eyes out to tonight's episode D: my favorite one ever maybe.
That was my favorite song from the show also. I was really upset that we didn't get to see what happened after Steven poofed Bismuth but I hope we get to see what the crystal gems think about what happened soon because how are we just gonna skip over that?
