EL PASO, Texas -- UTEP officials say it looks like September's Britney Spears concert is well on its way to a sell-out.
Tickets went on sale to the general public on Friday at noon.
The pop star will bring her "Circus" tour to the Don Haskins on September 21st and officials say about half of the tickets are already gone...including the top-priced $500 ringside seats!
A number of fans lined up early outside the UTEP ticket office to grab the best seats.
They say Britney is well worth the money.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so excited. Like nobody... the last big thing to come here was N'SYNC and that was like a million years ago," said mega-fan Diana Diaz-Deleon.
"It's exciting! I never thought Britney Spears would be coming to El Paso because usually people kind of forget about us," gushed El Paso fan Ashley Oropeza.
Now if Britney isn't your flavor of music...James Taylor tickets also went on sale Friday.
