Duel Monsters is way too complex, there are a lot of rulings that their rule book is actually huge (not the one that comes in the Decks they sell). There are many other things like "Priority", "Missing the timing", "'If' effects", "'when' effects", etc.
I learned all of its rules when I became a hard stan back in 2009 with 5D's haha.
