The Woman I Love is nice and enjoyed Wasting All These Tear and its sound. Rita’s radioactive is ok, liked the fine throwback style of Treasure. Nice winner for rockternative (interesting title for the award). What a useless set 72-69 was for me, got bored of Daylight and lately M5’s recent singles aren’t that good. Tears Always Win is true. Clarity is a deserved winner of electronic based on people saying it’s the best EDM song of the year for them, Got bored of True Love, but has a nice meaning and Catch My Breath is nice once in a awhile. How Long Will I Love You is amazing and getting into it recently and might do well for me in 2014. Agreed that the cheesiness in Endlessly was put into good use, glad you found the message and greatness that is Don’t You Worry Child heaven got a plan for you, Play Hard is most enjoyable in the summer and does sample Better Off Alone. You know 1D are winning anything Boy Band and pop related anyway. The only good part of Come & Get it is that in the video Selena looks good esp. in the water. Can’t Hold us is a great jam and so close it was into the top 50.
Like La La La & M&RL are a great hip-hop act winner. Like Let Her Go, For me, I liked Love Somebody better than Payphone and Daylight. Never heard of the remix, but My Kind of Love is amazing. I heard it from 2012. Rihanna and Mikky does well in Stay and enjoy the piano and the emotion and direction of the vocals. Well, Selena does look good in that limo. Come on, all of the other good electronic acts, that duo wins? Why do I still care about these awards anyway? Get Lucky, Blurred Lines, & Mirrors back-to-back greatness and the epicness is high. C’mon is fine, could’ve been better still a bop tho. Agreed that it was not a good lead single, but Applause is still all right. Six Degrees is nice. Didn’t’ realized Take On Me was the sample used for Feel This Moment. Idiot. This is Pitbull’s best song in 2013 and I have been disappointed in his recent songs tho. I did like that Taylor and Ed worked together for the nicely done Everything Has Changed. Not top 20 tho?
Clarity is indeed most of everyone that likes the song says it being their fav EDM song. Still enjoyed WIWYM for all its cheesiness and other boring terms. Roar is a good song, not impressive tho.
Overall good countdown with such nice music so far. Some I didn’t like or for care but the rest is amazing so far. Most of the award winners tho are underwhelming, but it's your style.

To be honest, it was shocking to see this song charting this high on my yearend list. Based on its countdown performance, it is obvious that I wasn't hooked to it during its release. However, it grew on me tremendously when I started to loop over Ariana's releases. The best thing about this one is that it brings back the music of Mariah during the 90s. I am a big fan of "Honey", "Heartbreaker" and her old school R&B releases and I must say that this one pays homage to those classics.

First of all, I would like to thank berberocka for recommending me this track. I was getting hooked into Birdy when I discovered this wonderful track. I was truly amazed on first listen. It sounds so sweet yet sincere. Plus, the lyrics are so beautiful and well-written. I'm not much into Australian music but Bella opened the doors for me to try listening to Aussie music. In all fairness, their releases are good. I'm not expecting a thumbs up from everyone for this track but I would be glad if you'll give this one a try.

My current favorite girl group gave out a very impressive and outstanding lead single off their sophomore album. They were able to prove themselves through their anthems "Wings" and "Change Your Life" but I actually think they shone brighter when they took the R&B direction. Comparing this track over their previous releases, I actually believe their harmony improved drastically. The girls are definitely getting better and better. And oh, Perrie is just so lovely. Well I hope they'd stick to this genre. Can they be the next Destiny's Child?

It was actually tough to see this wonderful collaboration miss the Top Twenty, but I just had to. This song was released way back 2012, but I was only able to discover it early 2013. At first, I thought it was just decent and nothing really impressive. However, I appreciated its beauty beneath after hearing a cover of an X Factor NZ all-male group contender. Damn, this song is lovely. Plus, Labrinth and Emeli did a great job in interpreting this ballad. This concludes Emeli's run in the yearend list, having three entries in the Top 100. Awesome!
