Honestly. There must be so much material "in the vaults" for the 90s albums, especially for Dangerous. But you know, the perception that his pre-90s work is all that counts can continue to be perpetuated.

And surely you've seen his 2003 FOX special with all of his home movies! It's a charming two hours.

Sis, I've seen every MJ private footage, which is why I want more of it. I know the rockandroll youtuber likes to upload rare footage. I love to see Michael in his regular life walking around with his children, and not having to worry about the negativity outside his home. I've seen so many private footage of him in the five years that it's a blessing that we are able to see it come to life. I think my favorite video might be when Oprah came over to his house. We got that great 30 minute footage. Love it.

You know, when you bring up Michael and his kids, it reminds me of 2003 when the Bashir documentary aired and people asked why he couldn't just have the bodyguard or nanny take them to the zoo so they could see everything without all of the paparazzi. At the time I thought, 'well if something happens he doesn't want it to be someone else's responsibility, he wants to be the one who was with them' and now it's like... fukc the paparazzi, let the man build memories with his own children.

The old clips are amazing, especially the Easter Egg hunt and stuff, when you can see him really getting to enjoy Neverland and time off work. But the continuity bits of him in the Neverland theater narrating it, he is as high as a kite there.

I've been reading a lot lately about the pushing and pulling that went on during the whole Invincible process. It's a shame that his final album may not have been the artistic statement he wanted to make. And the more shelved material I hear from those sessions, the more I'm like "..."

(I Can't Make It) Another Day, A Place With No Name, Shout, Xscape (THAT MIDDLE EIGHT) all sound like no-brainers for album status to my ears. I know Shout was taken off at the last second because you know, You Are My Life just had to be heard Anyway, those songs would have provided some much-needed bite and flavor.

Michael loved his long albums, but Invincible would have managed very well with a more conventional length. If they called me for my opinion these days I'd keep Unbreakable, Heartbreaker, Break Of Dawn, Heaven Can Wait, You Rock My World, Butterflies, Whatever Happens, and Threatened. I'd probably tighten some of those songs up a bit because they can meander. And I'd add the four previously mentioned outtakes.

It's incredible Such a great atmosphere, it's too bad it didn't make the final cut.

I was also reading that the label pushed You Rock My World as the first single. Michael wanted Unbreakable. I've often thought of Another Day is a left-field option for lead single had it been included. If you guys had to pick the first single, what would you have gone with? Let's say you didn't know what Michael's choice was.

Well invincible does have his best ballads in my honest opinion. You Rock My World should have been a CD Single release so he could have snatch hard in 2001.

Unbreakable would need a radio edit, but could have worked. It's aged quite badly to be honest.

Did anyone here see the first Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show IMMORTAL? When they did They Don't Care About Us they used an acapella section of Privacy... I WAS DESTROYED by how amazing it sounds without the production.
