I am a little confused. This is one of the worst choreo I have ever seen Bey do...am I missing something?
She brought in animals, dancers, sets, a war backdrop, and has a huge club track. And she ended up mostly shuffling and hopping around most of the time. If I got just ONE huge dance blitz, I would be satisfied. But it all seemed very boring and anti-climatic. And I adore the song, btw, one of my Top 5 of the year. I have been rewatching to try to like it, and little things have made me warm to it a LITTLE...but overall.....??
and still the best choreo of the year and dead at worst choreo she has ever done where does that leave bug a boo

I will personaly send you the worst virus known to man kind if I ever see you talking about an epic choreo coming from Gaga.
How the hell I leave, for an hour, with such statements as "I'm slayed", "best video of the year", and "this has slayed all the other girls videos" only to come back to statements such as "Gaga danced better in BR" and "the video is not that great"? What the hell happened in an hours time?
Jealously.
That and the fact that some of these gerls are working hard to get us banned.
That was weeks ago. Bey shouldn't be the type of artist that needs a video to have a big hit. Yall create so much hype for her material that the song's success so far is disappointing.
The editing left much to be desired overall. Single shot frames are always her biggest downfall when it comes to the direction of her videos. They ran throughout most of the first verse and the pseudo-climatic scene towards the end. The visual and art direction was impeccable, actually. Her body shape has also improved.
I thought the video was at least interesting. It kept my attention throughout the whole song (so this is the first time I was able to listen to the song all the way through). So on that point, it succeeded.
And I do like the song slightly more now, but that isn't saying that much since I didn't like it at all before.
One thing I didn't like in the video was the lighting. It seemed mess up at points.
