On the local news here. They said that this was some sort of ambush, it was set up where the protest was going end. I'm not sure if the ambush was for the protesters or the DPD. Suspect is claim to be dead here in the local news, some say he was some kind of training sniper.
I'm so confused... This was a terrorist attack? Or did it ensue from the protest?
An organized group of a few individuals carried this out. It's still kinda on-going? It was separate from the protest. No motives are known but police were primarily targetted.
