It isn't too sensitive if she brushed it off to record with him, she chose this kind of response and there isn't an excuse. She is supposed to be a ROLE MODEL and she's telling girls "it's okay if you've had a bumpy past with someone who abused you..."
There is no excuse for someone who has millions of girls that look up to them to do something like this for "Shock Value".. It backfired on Rihanna and this is what she gets.
