Now I like it only because i'm a sucker for 80s r&b slow jamz productions but I feel like he achieved nothing great lyrically that doesn't take from Uptown funk's cadence and UF did it better.
I love this. It's like Uptown Funk but with explicit lyrics. The instrumental is one of the best this year. Lyrics could've been better but who cares, it's a Pop song!
In my opinion this is nothing like 'Uptown Funk'. It's influence from the era it's inspired by is way more crisp and translates way better. This is virtually flawless. 4/4 if you ask me. This is going to be a monster
Love the Zapp reference. Me and my friends were just talking about the wonders of that era. This somehow captures elements of both electro R&B and break dance music. I'm sure majority of you don't know anything about Zapp or Rob Base/DJ E Z Rock.
I'm so proud of him. I'm a huge fan of Zapp so I love this.
