All of the songs Taylor had in the top 10 deserved their placement so
But yes Huey Newton and Prince Johnny deserved better.
No pop does not equal bad. I didn't even say that those Taylor songs were bad(they mostly are though) but that they are nowhere near as good as any song from LP1 or St. Vincent.
