Beyoncé reminds me of the female artists from the 30s-60s, a time when you had to have talent in all departments (singing, dancing, acting, etc.), beauty, class, intelligence, and a bright personality to match. Had she been alive back then, there is no doubt in my mind that she would be regarded as a legend amongst the likes of Diana, Aretha, Judy, etc.

Lets check back in another 10 years and maybe they'll be one then. Look at madge, i think she just becoming a legend now. She wasnt a legend in her 20's. Just because theyre at a peek,doesnt mean theyre legends. So to end this mess, neither Britney, gaga, beyonce, xtina, riri, and the rest of these girls are legends (YET). I hate the whole "it took Destiny's Child for Beyoncé to become famous" argument. Yes, Beyoncé is as famous as she is right now because of Destiny's Child, but that's not the sole reason. Keep in mind that there were 5 other women in the group, and they all tried for a solo career after leaving the group. But none of them have even come close to accomplishing the things that Beyoncé has. Beyoncé had to earn everything in her career. She wasn't just handed a record contract from day one. She earned all of the fans she has. She earned all of the hit singles and albums she has. She earned all of the awards she has. I'm a Rihanna stan, and even I can admit that. I'm thankful for everything that Beyoncé has contributed to the industry, as she made it that much easier for Rihanna to become the artist she is today.
