Dark Horse has MANY views while being complete trash and so do songs like Wrecking Ball and Gangnam Style.

So yeah, the YT views DO lie, quite often too. Roar is terrible and just a bit better than Dark Horse.

Also, the G.U.Y. video slayed my whole existence (and MTV is VERY wrong for no nominations) but I've seen that many of my GP friends didn't like it much, especially with the Housewives, Andy Cohen etc they thought it was corny. They all loved Applause though.

Dark Horse isn't trash. It's a fun video to watch, at first I hated it, but it's just a fun and colorful video and by the look of it, it looks like the GP wants that instead of some dark-artistic video that failed to reach 200M while being Gaga's biggest radio hit.

Roar isn't terrible at ALL. Again, it's a fun video that everyone, children and adults, would enjoy. A big hit. Think. Why does Roar have 500M views while BTW still hasn't reached 200M views ? Both BTW and Roar had HUGE hype, both had massive first week sales. So why?

The truth is, Gaga's videos aren't as enjoyable for the GP as Katy's, for example.

Youtube views don't lie because people watch the video because they want to for whatever reason.

So what if she didn't get any nominations? It's not the end of the world. It doesn't change the fact that G.U.Y. is an amazing music video.

Congrats to the artists that did get a nomination, live life and move on.

Again, enjoyable by the GP and light videos doesn't mean that they're good.

If a song is a huge hit, a la Roar and Dark Horse it shouldn't be a surprise that their videos have so many views. BTW was a hit but nowhere near Roar and Dark Horse.

New info from the M&G in Houston

Yeah! She told us that there will be a lead single from C2C, and that it would be soon since the album comes out in 2 months. I can't remember her exact words, but she said something about the single coming soon after tomorrow (today), I think. I dunno, it seemed like they're planning to release the single no later than by THE END of August or maybe even early August.

OH and she sang a new part of Sire for us. She said she should have released it the day of his passing, but a MICHAEL JACKSON impersonator that was there in the APZ said Michael's birthday was coming up and she said "hmmm" :P

She also said that she does wants Aura to be the CONTINUATION of the Telephone sequence! And that she does intend to release an act 2 eventually
