No, you are. You always take everything seriously and literally. When somebody randomly says "I like being straight"--when that is naturally assumed and unquestioned and irrelevant--among a flock of gays, it's going to raise an eyebrow or two. We don't need to get into a "straight pride parade" situation here, because when it comes down to it, every gay would rather be straight in a homophobic world.
