ddd this rate. This is why I don't like participating. Why is everyone giving out 1's and 10's like candy? This happens every rate. You give 1's to the songs you dislike and 10's the songs you like, and sprinkle in a little bit of everything else. The averages end up unrealistically high for everything.

there should be limits on how many 10's you can award. and maybe 1's too

It's not that bad tbh. This rate has a total of 33 voters and I don't think there's been a song with more than 4 1's. The 10's have been pretty moderate as well imo.

THE ULTIMATE J-RNB RATE

The Preface:

The main purpose of the Japanese rnb rate is to celebrate one of the most underrated genre of j-pop and Japanese music in general. It's a well-known fact that j-rnb artists perform poorly on the charts, but their releases still manage to captivate non-Japanese listeners all around the world. 8 prominent artists of the genre have been selected to be the focus of the rate and their best releases have been selected by either users of this thread or me personally.

The Guidelines:

You are to assign each track a score between 1 and 10. 0.5 and other decimals are allowed; you may also use .25 in extreme cases, but it is not encouraged.
You should PM your scores using the tracklist below to me.
You may give your favourite song a score of 11.
No trolling and bias (unless you stan for JASMINE hihi).
You mustn't reveal your scores in the thread, only averages for each artist are allowed.
The deadline is March 4, though the rate may start as soon as I've got enough ballots.

If you wish to participate in the rate, but you don't own any / some of the albums or you don't waste your precious jps points on them, let me know by posting in the thread / PM me. I'll provide you with the "purchasing" and streaming links.
