Today, for the first time ever I worked out to Hard Candy
I feel so sorry for what I have missed all this time . What an amazing album to work out to (From Candy Shop to Spanish Lesson, I mean )
HC is an amazing album I love every song & yes it's a great workout album PRAISE it

I have been listening to Sticky & Sweet Tour a lot recently.
Have come to the conclusion that most of it can be skipped without missing anything. Probably her worst setlist since Who's That Girl Tour.
The Intro
A MESS. What kind of Nintendo64 graphics is she trying to peddle to her stans.
Candy Shop
Her weakest tour opening EVER.
EVER.
I think it's one of the better songs on Hard Candy, but seeing her sitting stationary on a chair only to spend the next 4 minutes performing the least blood-pumping song possible was weak.
Beat Goes On
Much better, full of energy, should've been the opening number.
Human Nature
No. The DWT version remains the best live version. This song just doesn't work well live and I wish she'd forget it exists.
Vogue
Risky and amazing. Great choreography. One of the only moments of the show where it actually FEELS like a Madonna concert.
Into the Groove
The first half is fabulous. Shame the choreography is so lackluster... standing on a box - standing in a line - walking around. Song is ruined and overstays its welcome because Madonna feels like convincing everyone she's still 25. Still fun, I guess.
Heartbeat
I love this song, dire live performance.
Borderline
It was so good to see her performing this, unfortunately the actual thing that made Borderline so enjoyable was missing - a melody. The Melody was replaced with noise and... "singing".
She's Not Me
Would've been a better song #2. That the end of this song couldn't be reworked into something better is testament to how far the ball had been dropped on this tour. Very fun performance, she doesn't do much.
Music
I've never enjoyed this version because it sounds so joyless for what it's trying to do. NOTHING on the Confessions Tour mash-up. The moaning in the middle is vile.

She somehow made the song halfway listenable which is nice.
Miles Away
Who knew that the song that didn't chart would become such an ICONIC moment for Madonna stans. Best song on Hard Candy and another "Oh, this IS a Madonna concert!" moment.
La Isla Bonita
Slayed this, perhaps the best performance of the show. Great music, fun performance, she always sounds great singing La Isla Bonita live.

Cute.

Song runs out of steam VERY QUICKLY, as in, the moment she starts singing "when you call my name...". Becomes generic dance crap after that and LAP deserves better.
