I say send Slow Down for adds July 16th and keep the momentum going
or 1-2 weeks later, i dont know, whats planing HWR.... i think they want to make more buzz to her album, and after releasing, they could send Slow Down to the radios...
I'm pretty sure they'll hold off the release like they did with Demi.
Hopefully, it get released on the album release week but if they doesn't do that, the latest they should release it is the first week of August, nothing later.
Pushing an adds date is one of the most risky things. It can cause the second single to flop if the first single isn't losing hard enough on radio yet. Very excited to see Slow Down slay tho.
Slow Down should absolutely be released on the 16th/sent to radios. CAGI is peaking plus it'll be good to have a single at the same time as the album. Hopefully HWR doesn't **** this up.
I want CAGI to go 2x platinum before Slow Down gets released tho
Oh well, Slow Down will probably have a slow run up the charts I guess ... so it won't affect CAGI selling and staying top 20 on iTunes till July 16.
July 16 is a perfect add date.
If C&GI keeps selling the way it is, it'll go 2x platinum in four weeks. That'd be August and Slow Down should really be released in July. But I wouldn't be surprised if they released it in August so who knows?
