I agree with you mostly, although I think Joanne is actually in the true vein of who Gaga is
We're lucky Beyonce grew her music along with her, and stayed true to herself. Everyone laughed about '4', but had she continued down the IA...SF path, who knows what would have happened. Look at Usher for example.
