I do remember reading that Taylor said Ed introduced her to popular upcoming British singers and I think Sam Smith was one he listed.
Just in time, Taylor will continue her 3 month legendary reign from October - December and decline in January as usual, paving the way for Adele's release (which will dominate all year long)
