Zayn will have the biggest solo career, its always the pretty one not the one with the best voice, I can remember when people used to say Nadine from Girls Aloud would have the solo career because she had the best voice just like people say Harry will because of his voice but in the end it was Cheryl who slayed.
No one from 1D will have a successful solo career. They all lack something. Harry is the most known so I guess I'd put my money on him if I had to (although Zayn & Niall totally destroy him).
One Direction operate outside the true mainstream. They're not played on the radio all that much, the GP is generally unaware of their music. That's the main difference between them and the old boybands, and why they will have a very hard time launching solo careers.

This is actually true. As much as I hear about them I never hear 1D songs in the car or on the radio.

They won't be as successful as 1D or have continued success, but I still like them and they have some nice songs.
