Most of Katy Perry's videos rely heavily on style rather than substance, which is why you can't really say she has a terrible video. Capitol puts a lot of effort in all of her videos. I thought Teenage Dream was pretty good though.

1989 is still selling well so has potential to sell over 1M and Taylor had 2 massive smashes with SIO and BS so who cares whether they were #1? Lets live in the present (I realize the irony of this statement and my avi but it's still true).
I just bought new earphones and cut the cord by accident when trying to open the pack with scissors.

Look at how Style performed after the success of BS and SIO, and it's actually a good song. Bad Blood is easily the worst song off 1989, so the choice was clearly to generate publicity.
