I took a day off of this album, and coming back after listening to Blackout and In the Zone, I take back what I said originally and now say that this is her 3rd best album. People saying that Blackout and In the Zone had a child with a twist is the best description I've seen so far, because it's so true. Invitation - Flawless opening track, I love everything about it. It's so megical, so soft, so beautiful! I really don't need ballads on Glory when we have tracks like this 9,5/10

Make Me... - I have to admint that I wasn't a fan after the release, BUT it really grew on me. it's a great single, it deserves to smash. Maybe it's one of my least faves from Glory, but I still really like it. 7,5/10

Private Show - the opposite to Make Me, I loved it when it was released, now it's just ok. i Still like it tho. 6,5/10

Man On The Moon - it's SUPERIOR! So magical, special, ineteresting, beautiful with totally flawless lyrics like OH MY GOD! Alien 2.0 is here and WOW it's the way better! 9,5/10

Just Luv Me - when Justin released I'll Show You I was like "Wow I wish Britney had song in this vibe", looks like dreams come true. I'm a slave to this track, it has everything I love and need. Definitely my top 3 which is still so hard to define even tho I'm listening to Glory whole day. Oh and there is one flaw with this one tho... I can't get over "Luv", like... who the **** thought it would be a nice idea to change Love to Luv 10/10

Clumsy - just like with Private Show, I really liked it when it came out and now it's probably the worst track. That drop is so dated, but I raelly like the pre chorus. 6,5/10

Do You Wanna Come Over? - LOVE it since the first listen! It has something from In The Zone and Femme Fatale at the same time. I kina imagine Original Doll like this, it also reminds me of some Girls Aloud tracks. 8,5/10

Slumber Party - I think it was the first title that leaked on Pop Justice and it was my most anticipated track since then. Now it's probably my #1 from Glory! I FREAKING LOVE THIS!!! The production, the vocals, the lyrics, EVERYTHING! SLAYAGE IS REAL HERE! 10/10

Just Like Me - the beginning got me like "What? Don't tell me that it's gonna be some boring acoustic guitar ****", but the the chorus gets me like "OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS". Great track! 8/10

Love Me Down - This one is really... confusing? I totally love everything from the start, but then "Lo lo lo love me lo lo lo love me down" part comes and I want to skip it faster than My baby on Circus. it's still like 7 or 8 for me, but ughhh. I wish there was not lo lo lo part.

Hard To Forget Ya is amazing! Reminds me of some BoA tracks maybe, it's simply a great bop! 9/10

What You Need - I can't say that I love it, but I do not hate it neither. it's a grower, but for me it reached a level of 7 out of 10 for now and it's probably the maximum.

Better - The drop obviously reminds me of Lean On which is actually nice! I have to admint that I didn't like it on the first listen, but now it's amazing! 8/10

Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes) - This is the biggest surprise for m! It has the kind of vibe I usually hate. When I saw the spanish line in the title I was like "oh damn, it will be my least fave I can feel it"... BUT OH MY ****ING GOD THAT **** IS ****ING GODLY! I'M BOPING, DANCING, SHAKING AND SCREAMING!!!! Tie with a Slumber party for the #1 song from Glory. 10/10

Liar - classic flawless Britney bop we all love, nothing more to say 9/10

If I'm Dancing - obviously the How I Roll of this album, it's underrated and has really nice production. Maybe it's a bit too repetitive tho. 8/10

Coupure Électrique - I live, it's perfect I don't remember a single word, but I don't give a. It's the best outro this album could get. 10/10

I'm speechless, Glory is perfect! I love the production, lyrics, everything. In The Zone, Blackout, Glory is obviously my trinity now Thank You Britney

I think I'm part of the rare group that thinks there are very, very few flaws on the album and has a hard time picking one track over the other. There are only two songs I'm unimpressed with....

One being Clumsy, and one being Private Show. Neither song is terrible IMHO though.

I think Glory is her best album, followed closely by Blackout, then ITZ.

My review.. (sorry if it's too long)

Britney Spears is back with her 9th studio album, titled 'Glory'
It certainly does live up the name, and is a glorious experience listening to this album. The major upside to this album compared to her last 3, are that she seems happy, and that she's truly enjoying what she's singing. I think Britney prefers urban/dark/meaningful songs rather than the bubblegum pop music she is unfortunately known for. Britney has experienced first hand consequences of record labels, she had no say, they made her change her voice to how they like. They made it evident that her bubblegum pop songs sell the best. Thus might of been the case in the early years of her career, when teen-pop was the style to follow. But times have changed. Her albums such as Blackout, and In The Zone are arguably the best albums of her career, this is because they are timeless - and Brit is loving creating the music, and it is the sound she wants to do. And that's why it's not a surprise she loves Glory, because it does sound like in The Zone and Blackout, but of course with modern elements.
Britney is back, and she wants to prove everyone she's still a strong force in the game..

The album starts off with the mysterious 'Invitation' a.k.a one of the best opening tracks I have heard in a while. It kinds of sounds like something you'd hear of Tinashe's 'Aquarius' album. The melody is beautiful, and it gives you a slight sense of nostalgia.The production is very dream-like, and it perfectly blends with Brit's elegant voice. A truly, great way to start the album. 9.5/10

Next, the lead single off the album. 'Make Me..' although, not one of the stand out tracks. It gives the world a whole new look on Britney, the vulnerable side to her. The best part of the song is the guitar riffs, it's very sensual. & A good, but not the best lead. 8.5/10

Then we have Private Show, it's a song with a very mixed re-action. It definitely has a lot of character, but could of turned people off with how adventurous it is. Definitely a wrong choice with a promo song. 7/10

Man On The Moon - it's very similar to Stars Dance by Sel. It's a gorgeous song, with beautiful vocals by Britney. The production is very dream like again, and is perfect for the fall/winter seasons. Definitely a song which is up there in Brit's discography. 9/10

Just Luv Me, this one is definitely single - worthy. It follows the Tropical trend, that you'd hear on radio these days. But it also shows an emotional side of Britney, the world needs to see. If promoted properly, and given a proper video - this one could be huge. 10/10

Clumsy, hmm. Well, this is one of the albums falling points. However, the verses/pre chorus >> the beat drop. It sounds slightly dated, and off from the rest of the album. Although, it's not horrible. We just know Brit can do better (evidence is from the rest of the album) 6/10

Do You Wanna Come Over? a strong - album track, sounds very similar to songs off In The Zone especially 'Breathe On Me', the chorus vocals are slightly off-putting. But not enough to put you off listening to the song, it's a song anyone who loved In The Zone will love! 8/10

Now this is where the album, gets very strong. Slumber Party The verses are sensual, and the chorus is an anthem. The song is best listened to on speakers, to truly get the feel of the song. Their is also some reggae influences in the chorus as well, which is on trend with the current music in the charts. 9/10

Just Like Me, well the verses are golden, and the guitar really brings the song to life. The lyrics are relatable, the chorus could be slightly stronger, however a very good album track. 8.5/10

Love Me Down, this is very JB - ALAYLM. It's a new, trendier version however. The song is full of sass, and could be a contender for a single tbh. Perfect for the summer, also. 9/10

Hard To Forget Ya, possibly one of the most underrated tracks, it sounds very euphoric during the pre-chorus, and is a very happy song. Quite repetitive, but most pop songs are nowadays, it's very catchy regardless. 9/10

What You Need, production-wise this is one of the low-tier songs, however - it's nice to Brit experimenting with her vocals, and they do sound very powerful on this track. This is the song Private Show would of like to been. 7/10

Better, now this one is hot. It fits perfectly with the sound of the radio atm (ITAPII, Sorry) It could be a serious summer smash, IMO this should of been the lead. Would of been huge for Britney. It's very anthemic and very catchy! One of the best songs. 10/10

Change Your Mind, this one is very sensual. and is a perfect european song! It is very summery, and the chorus sounds huge! This one is hot, and sounds like the Britney we fell in love with! One of the best songs also. 10/10

Liar, this is one of the stand out tracks. It's a break up anthem, but it really does sound like a typical Britney song. It's huge, and although it probably wouldn't do well as a single, it really is a great song for the Britney fans! Well done Brit! 10/10

If I'm Dancing, a good track. Doesn't stand out too much, but Britney's vocals are angelic, and it is a beautiful song, just not very rememberable. 7/10

Coupure Électrique A beautiful song, a great way to close the album. I don't know what she is saying but it all fits perfectly together, from the smooth vocals to the darkish beat. Great song! 9/10

This album is cohesive, and trendy. If you are looking for minimal production, and powerhouse vocals. Of course this isn't the album for you, but while being a pop record - it is packed with character, and that is because of how much she is connecting to the songs she is performing. It seems like Britney is back in the game, and she is here to slay. Despite the scrapped music video, and the artwork etc.. the quality of the album definitely covers that up. This album is on par with In The Zone, and Blackout and any Britney fan will be pleased with this. She seems happy, healthy and in a great stage off her life to release this amazing album. Well done Britney, onwards and upwards. One of the best albums of this decade.
