We do have global album sales data? And you've got it backwards, since the point is not to assume the same market share but to use market share as a constant/consistent measure that allows for direct comparison across a variety of market environments over the years. It's about the closest thing to a 1:1 comparison that I can think (no system will ever be perfect).
I think I believe Mr. Peanut over GreasyBruce (who's lied about Circus selling 8 million copies!)
Unless she sold 51 million albums in catalog sales (in which case absolutely any argument to her irrelevance dissapears) she did not. But great for you finally admitting the 4 million for Hard Candy and 2 million for MDNA. Progress

1.8 for MDNA. And that's probably shipments but I know how you knee fans are so I included them anyway!!
SYGers have an extreme case of object impermanence, if an artist isn't releasing or in the media spotlight the GP is completely done with them and they're over, sorry that only applies to gaga
RihLORD is still the legend she always has been and that will never change, everyone is patiently waiting for the gem she's about to release
Brightest Morning Star sounding like a... well... mental patient
It still being better than the rest of Britney Jean as a bonus track
Dr. Luke being the only one who's somehow capable of using her absent headspace for good

Can you explain how Kworb adjusts catalog sales? For example Oops I Did It Again sold 40k in 2008, does that number get inflated according to 2008 album sales which would make it 80k albums sold or by the 2000 number?
Gurl, we all saw the recent High By The Beach (Low On The Charts) fiasco. No one is more over than Elizabeth Grant (although she never happened as she is an unknown entity who hasn't even sold half of the amount of albums Susan Boyle has sold). So have a seat, basically.
