Also, Bén has spent the era letting his personal crises go public for the sake of public reaction and media gossip whereas Emeli spent 2 years being bland, inoffensive, boring, unappealing and without sparking a shred of controversy. She has never had a strong opinion on any matter at all. Emeli yielded better results.
