On the the topic of AIEW, I think we can agree that a good song, if pushed be the label, will pull through. I think Cry should have definitely been released, it's so beautiful, powerful and it's not a boy-bashing song. My only concern would be that the production is slightly over the top, so radios might not have been so quick to jump on board, like they did with AG, but the song deserved to be released. It's video would have been GOLD, and Kelly sounds so amazing on it
Don't Let Me Stop You (albeit generic for Kelly), Long Shot, and If I Can't Have You would have definitely been more successful than AIEW as the fourth single. What were RCA thinking?? And the single picture was only text
It's disappointing that one single killed the era, especially when the succeeding single still did pretty well (just shy of Top 10 on BBHOT100). It seems RCA are more resilient this era though, so that's good for Stronger!
