I hope after Cheek to Cheek (that era is going to be a mess too) she gets it together. The decline in everything (singles, power, relevance, albums, tour, etc) have her really bothered, so maybe this time she will try to serve something nice and pleasent to everybody (musically) and still manage to have her edgy commercial image.
She has set herself up in a very hard position were everything she does is going to be dragged because she talked so much **** about everything that is successful that she's going to be dragged no matter what.

Not necessarily though. There's more than meets the eye. She tried the best she could to deliver an album she thought would meet the fans expectations and it DID initially. The problem was that people got caught up in the media negativity and started turning their backs on her. Not even going to lie, so many people on here calling ARTPOP Gaga's best album musically only to then retract and say it's her worst, and that it's annoying, and that it has bad hooks. **** outta here with that lying ass mess.
And yes, she's in quite a hard place but we have C2C to look forward to and anything after that we can also hope to see some kind of directional change. Everything isn't some huge ass crater drama that can't be fixed.
I also agree Get your ass in my bed. G.U.Y seemed like a thing for the fans. They wanted a beautiful video, something that was very Gaga and very appealing and the G.U.Y video was it.
This whole era has been nothing but "ARTFLOP" this and "ARTFLOP" that. It's annoying. The fact that the critics engaged in it too is just bleh.
