I know you, as a Britney stan, cannot see the difference in this. But Gaga is actually extremely talented, Britney on the other hand was always a pop product and her expiration date was sealed since the moment she signed her first contract.

What you need to realize is that Lady Gaga became famous for the exact same thing Britney was doing centuries ago. When people think of talent, they don't think of Lady Gaga. It's not a Mariah Carey situation here.
